One World One Heart Giveaway - Magic Carpet Ride 2010

I'm taking part in the One World One Heart Magic Carpet Ride giveaway for the first time this year and am looking forward to hopefully meeting lots of new artists and bloggers through this venture and to have them visit me! What's OWOH? Well, you can read all about it HERE.



So here's what you can win from me - a selection of my collage sheets/background papers, some of my ATC's (for those who don't know what an ATC is, it is an Artist Trading Card and they are miniature works of art on a card which are swapped between artists), some ephemera (the exact pieces to be selected in the next few weeks) and maybe one or two extra things. January Design Team Artwork

Here is my artwork for January, made from several of Cassandra's beautiful collage sheets at Cassis's Creations. Pay a visit to her shop and see these lovely designs and lots more.

I have used scraps from several sheets and images from different sheets, finished with a few embellishments and a touch of sparkle. If you want to know which sheets a particular element came from, leave me a message and I will look them up for you.

Collage Obsession Challenge No. 1

Itkupilli and her friend Elegia have set a new digital collage challenge on the Collage Obsession blog.

The challenge is to apply the phrase "Worn Out" to this lovely picture of Sarah Bernhardt. Here is my entry.

Brrr.....!!!

This is apparently the coldest snap we have had for 28 years. We had some snow just before Christmas and now we have some more which arrived yesterday afternoon. We had further falls during the night and it is still trying to snow at the moment.

It is so quiet in the village - hardly any vehicles going past today - it is eerily silent. I am quite poorly in bed at the moment with the dreaded lurgy but Mr V-B donned his wellies this morning and took these pictures.

All I can say is that I am glad I am warm indoors!
