This is the first swap I have taken part in in the new Marie-Antoinette Mail Art Group. The swap is called Birds of a Feather and together with an image of Marie-Antoinette, there also has to be a bird and feather of some description on the ATC.
These are my 3, which I have tried to make extravagant and luxurious.

Vintage Scrap ATC
I have just discovered some lovely work by Martha Brown, as featured in the current Sew Somerset magazine and had a look at her blog yesterday.
Her work has inspired me to try something loosely along the same lines as her scrappy pieces and this is the end result. I had fun glueing lots of scraps of text and then adding scraps of fabric and a vintage pearl embellishment. I love the way it has turned out and will be making more like this.

More Beautiful Goodies ....
I am a bit late in posting this as I received this fabulous package from Germany a few days ago - I swapped an atc with my cyber friend, Viola Erdmann and this is what she sent me with it - one of her beautiful fabric collages, a vintage German document and some vintage German text.
Thank you Viola - you are so generous and I love them!

January Mind Wide Open Challenge
We had to use the blue image this month, the word prompt being "Forever". I wasn't sure how to use this at first but I started playing about with the special effect brushes. A friend has loaned me a graphics tablet and pen to try out and so I was experimenting with that, using a trail of tiny, tiny butterflies. I then decided it would be nice to do the whole dress in butterflies, followed by a small headpiece and the word "Forever" typed in butterflies too. I then made some blending changes and ended up with this. I would have liked to finish it off a little more but I ran out of time unfortunately due to other commitments this week.
