This was how I started this project and it has progressed apace, turning out completely differently to how I imagined, as is often the case with these things.
Here are a few sneak peeks of the final project. I am not showing it in its entirety as I am submitting it for publication in the next Sew Somerset magazine and don't want to give too much away yet.
Fingers crossed! I have really enjoyed making this, despite sore, pricked fingers!

Hi Barbara, your work is just beautiful. Good Luck and have a wonderful evening. Hugs, Terri
These little sneak peeks look very intriguing! And gorgeous! All your little touches of buttons and lace bits are magnificent. I am looking forward to seeing the whole of it.
Barbara, this looks VERY intriguing! I hope you will show all once the publication has happened?
Glad you had a lovely break away ..... OH NO! Chocolates!!! You must have been very good :0)
I will ask my family about the bluebell woods, I don't know the area myself. I'm glad you're a 20 Minuter too, or else we may never have met in Blogland!
Have a wonderful weekend.

Oh Barbara, you do beautiful work! I love the shades of blue mixed in. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product! Good luck! P.S. I know what you mean about the fingers -- ouch!
I saw your lovely "Vintage Lace Sampler" in Sew Somerset Winter 2011 issue. I love your artwork! I am also in this issue, and it is my first time to be published.
