No Wonder He Was In Pain!
Take a look at these monsters, removed from Mr V-B's gall bladder on Wednesday - no wonder he was in agony in January.
There were some complications with the operation and he had to stay in longer than anticipated but he is home now, taking things very gingerly, with 4 abdominal wounds. He won't be moving too quickly in the next couple of weeks.
Thanks for all the good wishes I have received, they are very encouraging, especially as I have to start my investigations soon.

Oh dear me! My tummy hurts just looking at them!
YEOW.......that explains alot! Those stones are huge ~ I've never seen any that size!
Well, he'll be felling tons better soon and I'm happy things went well for him. Send him my best wishes.
Take care of YOU, now. I'll be thinking about you.
Hugs

Wow, I've never seen anything like this! I hope your hubby feels better soon! And take good care of yourself, as well!
Hi again, Bunty
Just wanted to let you know I'm having a little giveaway to celebrate my first year's blogging, so if you wanna pop over......
xx
Yikes, they are massive! Thank goodness all is well now. what a relief.
Glad Mr VB's op is over. I wondered if it was gall stones when you mentioned having to avoid a fatty diet - I had the same problem some years ago.......very painful indeed, and it took quite some time and several "episodes" to have it properly diagnosed. Anyway, after surgery no problems at all, so here's to a speedy post-op recovery.
You both take care. Love X
