Some of you will know that this has been a terrible year for me and I have been trying to cope with everything that has been thrown at me. As if things weren't bad enough, I had more terrible news last Friday regarding a family member and my head was screaming to get out of the house. As it was a lovely autumn day yesterday, we went for a stroll to Buscot Weir and it really did me good to do it. It doesn't change the news I had or how we will all cope with it but at least I was able to forget my worries for a little while and appreciate nature.

It must have been very therapeutic for you to see these beautiful sights. I do hope that things improve for you. penny
There is something uplifting about getting out in the midst of beauty when life is hard isn't there?
Just a big big hug to you.
What gorgeous photos. Sorry to hear that you're coping with bad news x
Oh no - I'm sending you big warm enveloping hugs too Barbara.
It's wonderful how soothing it is to be surrounded by nature, somehow it helps to relieve the stress - if only for that short time.
Take care
hugs

Barbara, what a healthy thing to do -- go for a walk and admire (and record) the beauty around you. I hope you are well today. Hugs.
Dear Barbara, I'm so sorry to hear that even more bad news had come your way. I'm glad you could get distracted a bit by enjoying nature and will keep you in my thoughts.
Big hugs to you,
Julia

PS Your photo mosaics look great.
That is certainly the gift nature gives. We can be ageless, timeless and unburdened.
